Its main content is aluminum oxide and Silicon oxide. Ceramic foundry sand compare with Silica sand, it has high refractoriness, little thermal expansion, good angular coefficient, excellent flowability, high resistance to wear, crush and thermal shock, high reclamation rate, it could reduce the resin addition and coating amount, increasing your castings yield, more than ten times the number of reclamations. Compare with black ceramic sand, it has almost same properties except lower bulk density and higher more than 3 times reclamation. Sintered ceramic sand bulk density is 1.45-1.6 g/cm3, but black ceramic sand is 1.8-2.1 g/cm3.
