Ceramsite sand for foundries

Short Description:

Ceramsite sand for foundries, is an artificial foundry sand originating in China. It is a substitute for chromite sand and zircon sand in the foundry and petroleum industries at first. But for Kaist Ceramsite sand for foundries, it is an special artificial ball sand for foundry industry, different with petroleum ceramsite, the sand mainly used to substitute for Japanese Cerabeads sand, fused ceramic sand, chromite sand, zircon sand and silica sand. It has higher refractoriness, little thermal expansion, lower powder bulk density, excellent fluidity and filling, good spherical shape, higher reclamation rate to reduce casting companies production cost, improving the quality of castings.
