Short Description:

Sintered Ceramic Sand(SCS) is one artificial sand for foundry, which fully same with Ceramic Foundry Sand, a synthetic crystalline mullite sand suitable for all foundry pour temperatures and binder systems. It can be used for facing, cores or entire molding systems.  SCS offers cost savings through improved surface finish, cleaner castings and safer working environment by eliminating the silica PEL penalty. Being more durable than silica, it can operate in a molding system indefinitely as a recycled media.  When filling a molding system, the sand is not a traditional consumable.  It’s an investment.
